Binance Launches Blockchain Hub in Georgia to Promote Crypto Adoption

Binance, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the launch of a new blockchain hub in Georgia in an effort to promote the adoption of crypto in the country.

The hub, referred to as a “Web3 outpost,” will focus on attracting talent to the Georgian blockchain sector, promoting industry education, and creating job opportunities.

Binance’s Georgia division currently employs 25 people and works with local public and private sectors to organize educational and hackathon events.

The company expects to create “dozens more jobs” with the launch of its regional hub in Georgia by the end of 2023. Georgia is rated as a leader in terms of crypto adoption, and the country is seen as an excellent location for developing blockchain technology.

This move follows several other milestones in Binance’s growth in Georgia, including partnerships with local payment gateways, charity initiatives, and collaborations with the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency.
