Crypto News: Binance Launches ‘Build The Block’: Unveiling a Metaverse Investment Showdown for Web3 Startups
Binance, the world’s leading provider of blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure, is set to launch an exciting global digital series called “Build The Block.” This groundbreaking competition will bring together innovative web3 startups competing for the opportunity to secure investment from Binance Labs. “Build The Block” marks Binance’s first venture into the metaverse, adding another dimension to its impressive portfolio.
A carefully curated selection of 12 projects will compete for the ultimate prize, aiming to impress both a live audience and a distinguished panel of judges.
The judging panel includes industry experts such as Yi He, co-founder and CMO of Binance and head of Binance Labs; Yibo Ling, chief business officer of Binance; Guy Turner, co-founder of Coin Bureau; Azeem Khan, a member of the World Economic Forum’s Crypto Sustainability Coalition and fundraising and partnership lead at Gitcoin; and Robby Yung, CEO of Animoca Brands and partner at Animoca Capital.
Hosting this thrilling series is Justin Bratton, known for his role as the host of Asia’s Got Talent. With over 900 applications received, the contestants have been handpicked for their exceptional potential.
They will have the chance to showcase their projects in front of a virtual studio audience and the esteemed panel of judges.
The captivating episodes of “Build The Block” will be broadcast on Binance’s YouTube channel and Binance Live, with the first episode scheduled for May 12 at 2 p.m. GMT. Subsequent episodes will air every Tuesday and Friday, leading up to the grand finale on June 2.
