Noble, a token issuance protocol, has recently announced a partnership with Circle to bring USD Coin (USDC) natively to the Cosmos ecosystem in Q2.
USDC is one of the largest stablecoins in the cryptocurrency market and is crucial to many DeFi projects due to its steady peg to the US dollar.
Noble CEO Jelena Djuric said that the Cosmos ecosystem has not yet had a native fiat-backed stablecoin that is both highly liquid and fully collateralized on its network, and this partnership with Circle will change that.
Noble will help manage and issue USDC, which will facilitate new liquidity in the ecosystem.
Popular lending protocol dYdX will soon migrate from Ethereum to the Cosmos IBC, and Djuric stated that this is a significant moment for the Cosmos and the app chain thesis because dYdX has already had considerable success on Ethereum.
